I am lost in my memories of my youth
the days long gone by
spent in love and in pain
walking in the sun,
the nights staring at the moon,
and standing in the rain
all the loves all the loss
the happiness and the misery
I never knew what you would mean
to me
I always thought you were but a dream
and unbeknown to me
you became reality
and now I am lost
in a whirlwind of emotions
my one constant through all of this
is my love for you
